Indecent Cherry

Launched in 2022 by Born to stand out and created by Florian Gallo, INDECENT CHERRY is built around a precise idea: innocence can be a surface, while something far more unruly waits underneath. The brand’s official inspiration describes an immaculate smile with a devilish glint, and that tension shapes the fragrance from start to finish. Cherry is not treated here as a simple playful fruit note, nor as a sugary cliché. Instead, it becomes a study in contrast, moving between polished sweetness and a darker, more knowing sensuality.

The opening blends sweet cherry, almond and saffron. Cherry arrives first with an immediate, juicy appeal, while almond softens the edges with a creamy, velvety texture that gives the accord body. Saffron introduces a dry, spicy tension that keeps the sweetness from becoming predictable. The effect is seductive but controlled: something bright and inviting, already hinting at a more subversive direction beneath the surface.

At the heart, Bulgarian rose and mimosa bring floral poise and a certain softness, yet it is the pairing of sour cherry and strawberry that keeps the fragrance in motion. Here the cherry sharpens, gaining bite and attitude. Strawberry adds a ripe red accent, while mimosa lends a softer luminosity that rounds the composition without weakening it. Rather than shifting abruptly, the heart deepens the first impression and gives it a more self-aware, teasing character.

The base of vanilla, amber, Indonesian patchouli, musk and benzoin gives the scent its lasting emotional register. Vanilla and benzoin extend the balsamic warmth, amber adds oriental depth, and patchouli introduces an earthy darkness that frames the fruit with more maturity. Musk smooths the composition into something close and intimate.
